Silicon Summer Intern 2027
Overview
The Silicon Summer Intern 2027 is a 12-week summer programme offered by Graphcore. Interns join one of four specialist Silicon teams focusing on logical design, verification, physical design, or design for test. Participants work on real chip development tasks, utilizing industry-standard electronic design automation tools and contributing to the creation of advanced AI compute chips. The position is based in Bristol and Cambridge, United Kingdom, starting in June 2027.
Who can apply
Applicants should be working toward a degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or related subjects like Physics or Maths, though an engineering background is not strictly required for motivated candidates. Participants must possess programming skills in C, C++ or Python through study, projects, or hobbies, alongside an interest in AI compute and silicon design. Previous industry experience is not required. Candidates must already hold the right to work in the UK for the entire duration of the programme without needing visa sponsorship.

Requirements
Applicants must submit a CV, a cover letter, and answers to the application questions.
