Overview

Loop Capital, a full-service investment bank, brokerage and advisory firm serving corporate, governmental and institutional clients, is offering a summer Equity Research internship for 2027. The Equity Division carries out fundamental stock analysis at industry and company level, with coverage that includes oilfield services and equipment, internet, media and entertainment, semiconductors and transportation.

The internship is based in Chicago, Illinois, and New York, New York, and runs from June 7 to August 13, 2027, roughly ten weeks. Interns earn between $22.00 and $30.00 per hour, and the role is classed as FLSA Non-Exempt.

What you do

Interns work with Equity Research professionals on projects and day-to-day activities. They gather and enter data used in stock analysis, help build market presentations, examine market data and industry trends, and report their findings to the research team. The role also gives exposure to research platforms such as FactSet.
