Local Marketing Intern
Overview
Deliveroo Belgium, part of DoorDash, is offering a Local Marketing internship in Brussels. The role suits a curious, flexible student who wants to learn how a fast-growing business operates, and the team commits to sharing knowledge and guidance so the intern can build business sense with real impact from the start. The core of the job is frontline marketing operations.
What you will do
The intern supports the daily running of marketing campaigns so that initiatives launch accurately and on time, helps adapt marketing content and assets for the Belgian market, and assists with CRM campaigns by preparing, localising, reviewing and coordinating customer communications. Other tasks are managing and publishing in-app messages, coordinating assets and copy in English, French and Dutch, and checking campaign assets, copy, links and placements before launch.
The internship also gives exposure to strategy. The intern works with the Merchant Marketing team and wider stakeholders, helps prepare presentations and campaign materials, sees how marketing links to commercial objectives and helps find ways to streamline recurring processes. Responsibility grows as confidence and understanding increase.
Requirements
Applicants must be studying toward a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Belgium, for example in business, economics, marketing or communications, and be available for six months, with a possible extension to twelve. They need to be comfortable working in English, French and Dutch. Being organised, detail-oriented, curious and open to feedback is important, and basic familiarity with Google Sheets and presentation software helps. CRM or marketing tool experience is a plus but not required.
What you get
The internship offers practical experience in marketing operations, CRM, localisation and campaign execution, a steep learning curve, and a friendly office environment in Brussels with opportunities for personal and professional development.
