Internship - Compensation & Benefits
Overview
Ledger, the digital asset and Web3 platform headquartered in Paris, is offering an internship in Total Rewards, covering compensation and benefits. Ledger has around 600 employees, secures more than 20 percent of the world's crypto assets through its devices, and has sold over 7.5 million hardware wallets in 200 countries.
The intern works with the London-based Head of Total Rewards and the Paris-based Compensation and Benefits Expert, combining routine operational tasks with strategic and analytical projects.
What you will do
One strand is pay equity analytics: preparing data, testing variance and building baseline models for internal pay equity audits and gender pay gap analysis, and supporting preparation for the EU Pay Transparency Directive through statistical analysis of compensation trends. A second strand is equity platform work, which means preparing and validating equity grant lists with HR Operations and Legal, and exploring dashboards to track equity distribution, vesting and dilution for instruments such as BSPCE and stock options.
The operations strand includes supporting the annual compensation review cycle, coordinating compensation and benefits survey submissions with basic market benchmarking, administering global patent and invention premiums with the Intellectual Property and Payroll teams, and handling the quarterly upload of payroll bonus data in Workday.
Requirements
Candidates should be pursuing a master's degree in a highly quantitative field such as corporate finance, statistics, financial engineering, business analytics, data science or econometrics. Strong statistical modelling and data-handling skills are expected, together with advanced Excel. Hands-on experience or real curiosity about AI agents and workflow automation is a strong plus. Ledger also wants someone adaptable and proactive in a fast-paced, multicultural setting. Fluent English is required and French is a plus.
