Google Technical Program Manager Internship 2027: Summer Opportunity for BS/MS Students
Overview
Google is recruiting students for its Technical Program Manager Internship in Summer 2027, open to people pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field. Interns work with engineering teams on technical projects, planning, implementation and delivery. The programme runs 12 weeks, and interns must be located in the United States throughout. It is not an international remote placement.
Technical Program Managers help lead complex, multidisciplinary engineering projects, from planning requirements and managing schedules to identifying risks and coordinating stakeholders.
What you do
Interns work with engineering teams to design, develop, implement, launch and support services and improvements. They help develop and run project plans within cost, schedule and feature constraints, collect and analyze data to support decisions, and enable collaboration through clear communication and documentation.
Who can apply
Applicants must be pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field, have experience with a general-purpose programming language such as Java, C/C++, Go or Python, and have led entrepreneurial, outreach or project-management activities through classes, clubs or internships. The internship is intended for students in their penultimate year or those who will return to a degree programme afterward. Preferred qualifications include studying in the United States, availability for 12 full-time weeks outside the university term, coding and open-source experience, and strong communication and collaboration skills.
What you get
The listed compensation is an annualized range of US$94,000 to US$125,000 with a 0% bonus target, not a 12-week payment, and individual pay varies. Eligible U.S.-based interns receive health, dental and vision insurance, sick time and paid holidays. Possible locations include Mountain View, Austin, Chicago, New York, Seattle, San Francisco and Washington, D.C., among others, and applicants indicate preferences.
How to apply
Apply through Google's careers platform with a resume showing the anticipated graduation date in month/year format and an English-language transcript uploaded in the Education section with the status Now attending. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
