Constellation Space Software Engineering Intern – Winter/Spring 2026–2027
Overview
Constellation Space offers full-time internships for students looking to gain practical software engineering experience in the space technology sector. Participants join the engineering team in Seattle, Washington, to work on the ConstellationOS platform. Interns take ownership of a scoped engineering project, moving it from the initial design phase through to deployed production code. Two separate terms are available: a winter term beginning in November 2026 and a spring term starting in Spring 2027.
Who can apply
Applicants must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Candidates need to show strong programming skills in Python, Go, C++, or a comparable language. Additional experience in computer systems, networking, software engineering, simulation, or data processing is considered advantageous. Because the position is subject to ITAR regulations, applicants must be U.S. persons.
What you get
Selected interns receive a monthly salary between $6,000 and $7,000, along with a $3,000 relocation stipend. The full-time role provides hands-on exposure to the complete software lifecycle, including system design, testing, code review, documentation, and final presentations.
