Beck’s Superior Hybrids Research Intern 2027 – Paid Agriculture Internship with Housing
Overview
Beck's Superior Hybrids is offering a paid Research Intern position for college students, running from May through August 2027 at its site in Atlanta, Indiana. The internship is part-time, with overtime and overnight travel required, and travel to other Beck's locations and research sites is expected. Furnished housing or a housing stipend is provided. The position is identified as safety-sensitive.
Interns learn about and assist the Research Department across corn and soybean research, covering performance testing, corn breeding, molecular markers, transformation and product development. The programme combines fieldwork, data collection, laboratory exposure, travel and a summer project.
Tasks may include preparing seed for the upcoming planting season at a Beck's location, travelling with staff to outlying sites to help plant test plots, collecting early- and mid-season agronomic notes, and helping pollinate the corn breeding nursery. Depending on operational needs, interns may also assist in molecular marker or transformation laboratories, though not every intern will take part in every activity.
Who can apply
Applicants must be currently enrolled college students. No specific major is mandatory, but agriculture experience is preferred.

Candidates should be comfortable with fieldwork, changing locations, travel and extended work periods.
