AI Engineer Intern

Overview

Davis AI, an AI-native real estate company that speeds up early-stage property development and architectural design, is looking for an AI Engineer Intern in Paris. The internship tackles a hard problem in applied AI: building multi-agent systems that stay reliable across long, complex real-estate workflows. The intern works on the core delivery pipeline, from context assembly and tool orchestration to verification, storage, evaluation and observability. Davis turns the inputs behind a development decision into investor-grade feasibility studies, investment analysis and architect-certified designs delivered in days, pairing its AI systems with expert review. The team has 12 people and has raised a 5.5 million dollar pre-seed round.

What you will do

The intern owns one delivery pipeline from start to finish, such as market, financial or regulatory analysis. Work includes building the harness around the model, covering context engineering, tool orchestration, verification and report generation, and building the tools agents rely on, such as open data on cadastre, zoning, transactions and demographics, and extraction from regulatory PDFs and plans. The intern also turns expert corrections into source memory, gold datasets and regression evaluations, extends the evaluation harness with LLM judges, replay caches, traces and prompt optimisation, ships production-grade quality, and works with clients and domain experts to understand how real estate decisions are made.

Requirements

Candidates need strong backend Python, including clean scalable architecture, typing, async code and real tests, and a preference for thin, well-tested layers around LLM programs over stacked frameworks. Reading and writing French is required because sources and deliverables are in French. Useful extras include experience building or evaluating LLM agents, running long cost-controlled LLM pipelines, GIS work, computational geometry, document understanding such as PDF parsing and OCR, databases with versioning, multi-country products and interest in real estate, architecture or urban planning.
