Founded in 2012 with generous backing from The ALBORADA Trust, the Cambridge-Africa ALBORADA Research Fund supports pairs of post-doctoral-level (or more senior) researchers — one from the University of Cambridge or an affiliated body such as the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute, NIAB, or the British Antarctic Survey, and one from an African institution — in launching or deepening research collaborations across any discipline.
