Oklahoma City Zoo & Botanical Garden Conservation Action Now Grants 2026 (up to $2,500)
Overview
The Oklahoma City Zoo and Botanical Garden is committed to supporting the conservation of imperiled species, habitats and their surrounding communities through species preservation, research and education. Its Conservation Action Now (CAN) Grants for 2026 fund projects involving research or conservation of invertebrates.
Grants are awarded on proposal merit and in line with one or more of three purposes. Conservation Education builds awareness of a conservation programme that can bring change for invertebrates or their habitats. Scientific Research covers in-situ or ex-situ projects with a direct impact on the conservation of an imperiled invertebrate species or habitat in its native location. Species Preservation covers direct care of, or work with, an imperiled invertebrate species in-situ or ex-situ that improves the ability to preserve it in its native habitat.
