IFRA-Nigeria Research Grants 2027 (up to €1,000)
Overview
The IFRA-Nigeria Research Grants 2027 support research in the humanities and social sciences on West Africa. IFRA-Nigeria, the French Institute for Research in Africa, is based within the Institute of African Studies at the University of Ibadan. Its regional mandate covers nine countries: Nigeria, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Cote d'Ivoire, Ghana, Niger, Chad and Togo. Disciplines outside the humanities and social sciences are not eligible.
For the period from January 2027 to October 2027, IFRA-Nigeria is financing about a dozen research projects, either individual or collective, that involve fieldwork missions or stays in archives.
