IDA Startup Grant 2026-2027 (DKK 25,000 prize)

Overview

The IDA Startup Grant 2026 is an initiative created by IDA in partnership with Heyfunding to support entrepreneurship in Denmark. The program aims to encourage STEM startups that transform new technology and knowledge into strong business ideas featuring significant growth potential. Five nominated finalists are chosen, from which one winner is selected.

Who can apply

The grant is aimed at established companies operating within STEM-related fields. Applicants must hold an active CVR number at the time of application. Submissions are evaluated based on four main parameters, which include the innovation of solutions not currently on the market, overall growth potential, team execution capabilities, and relevance to the STEM field.

What you get

The selected winner receives a cash prize of DKK 25,000 alongside free PR and exposure provided through IDA and Heyfunding. Additional benefits include access to Heyfunding’s Investor Matchmaking Service, recognition and validation from experienced stakeholders in the startup ecosystem, and a chance to win a CONNECT Denmark Springboard.
