Create AI Agents Championship 2026–2027: A Global Opportunity for AI Innovators
Overview
Dubai Chambers presents a global competition created to help students, developers, entrepreneurs, startups, and innovators turn real-world problems into functional artificial intelligence solutions. The initiative offers participants a platform to build agentic AI, receive expert mentorship, refine business concepts, and compete for substantial financial backing. The competition is structured around four distinct award categories addressing societal, personal, business, and youth-focused challenges, with an overall title of Dubai AI Agent of the Year also available.
Who can apply
The competition welcomes both technical and non-technical applicants from the United Arab Emirates and international locations who want to develop AI solutions and expand into the regional market. Eligible participants include students, technology enthusiasts, entrepreneurs, developers, startup founders, and innovators across various industries. Entries can be submitted by individuals or in teams of up to six members. For the youth category, the lead applicant and all team members must be under twenty-one years of age at the time of registration. Submissions must feature original solutions at the idea, prototype, or early minimum viable product stage, and fully commercialised solutions are excluded.
What you get
Category winners receive a grant of USD 150,000 to advance the development and growth of their AI agent solutions and businesses. Participants also gain access to live workshops, digital academy videos, advanced training courses, technical mentorship, and accelerator support. Selected semi-finalists enter a tech accelerator programme for guidance to test and improve their solutions, alongside pitch training ahead of the final evaluation.
Requirements
Submissions must present original work that is not copied from existing repositories and must incorporate proper safeguards for confidential, personal, and organisational data. While early-stage concepts are permitted at the initial application stage, teams advancing to the final round must present a fully functional AI agent rather than a minimum viable product. Existing businesses are allowed to enter by proposing a new AI agent capability.
Key dates
Registration opened on 7 October 2026 and closes in January 2027. Training activities, workshops, and digital academy videos run from October 2026 through January 2027. Submission of prototypes, pitch decks, and demonstration videos is required by January 2027. Semi-final presentations take place in March 2027, and the grand final is scheduled for the first week of May 2027.
