A significant new global initiative has launched to strengthen cybersecurity and safeguard digital civil liberties. On June 23, 2025, the Internet Society (ISOC) and the Global Cyber Alliance (GCA), on behalf of the Common Good Cyber secretariat, announced the launch of the Common Good Cyber Fund, a pioneering effort providing targeted funding to nonprofits working at the intersection of cybersecurity and civil society protection, addressing a critical global gap.
