Backed by a prestigious two-year grant from Roche’s African Genomics Program, the MRC/UVRI and LSHTM Uganda Research Unit (comprising the Medical Research Council, Uganda Virus Research Institute, and London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine) is launching a new funding opportunity. The project is designed to broaden bioinformatics and genomics research capabilities throughout the African continent, further strengthening the Unit's prominent role in developing regional scientific expertise and infrastructure.
