The Improving Research Community Builder Award backs early-career Pre-PhD, PhD, and postdoctoral researchers who host local events aimed at improving research practices and culture at their universities. Around 20 to 25 awards will be funded, with each recipient eligible to apply for between £200 and £800, plus an additional £150 given as a token of appreciation for organizing the event.

- Post-event applications will not be considered, and the first event hosted should take place within 3 months of receiving the award. After the event, a summary of approximately 500 words and a photo must be submitted to dmh-group@mrc-cbu.cam.ac.uk within 30 days of the event’s conclusion.
