Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative Professional Exchange Program (YSEALI PE) 2027 (Funded)
Overview
The Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative Professional Exchange Program 2027 is a six-week exchange initiative sponsored by the U.S. Department of State. It aims to develop a network of emerging leaders across Southeast Asia to foster shared prosperity and support a secure, free, and open Indo-Pacific. Participants work directly with United States public, private, and nonprofit entities to gain hands-on experience, investigate creative solutions to complex problems, and build enduring professional connections.
The program includes leadership training and ongoing alumni involvement to encourage practical partnerships. Alongside gaining firsthand exposure to American methodologies in governance, entrepreneurship, community leadership, and innovation, participants also share their own insights and knowledge with American colleagues.
