WISE EdTech Accelerator 2026-2027
Overview
The WISE EdTech Accelerator 2026-2027 supports edtech founders from around the world in building and scaling solutions to key challenges in education. Each year WISE delivers a bespoke programme combining one-to-one coaching, masterclasses with industry experts and access to a global network of investors and education specialists.
There are two tracks. The Local Track is for early-stage startups, from seed to pre-series A, that are ready to scale and enter the Qatari market, with access to Qatar's growing education sector. The International Track welcomes early-stage startups from across the globe that want to scale without focusing on a specific market.
What you get
Participants gain access to investors and education specialists, international visibility through partner events and the WISE Summit, and membership in a community of edtech founders from 22 countries. A hand-picked team of experts coaches them on marketing, sales and fundraising; product strategy, development and roadmapping; and market insights and positioning. Selected ventures can attend events such as the IFC Global Education Conference, Web Summit Qatar and London EdTech Week, and be promoted on WISE platforms, including the WISE Summit in Doha, which convenes over 4,000 attendees from 100 countries.
Who can apply
The accelerator is open to startups beyond the MVP stage with evidence of traction and sales, typically early-stage ventures that have raised less than $500,000. It is open to any geography and targets for-profit ventures, so NGOs and nonprofits are not eligible. Ventures in K12, higher education and professional development are all eligible. Co-founded ventures are preferred, and startups must show proven traction and measurable impact.
Requirements
A committee of experts assesses applications on team credentials, innovation, scalability, financial sustainability and educational impact. The programme has a 5% acceptance rate.
How to apply
Applicants complete the online form in English, describing the edtech solution and how it works, the problem it addresses, the target beneficiaries and their motivation for joining.
