The Wilson Center's 2027–2028 Research Fellowship Program is now taking applications, offering accomplished scholars, policy practitioners, journalists, and public intellectuals worldwide a fully funded, 12-month research fellowship. Fellows receive a USD 10,000 monthly stipend (USD 120,000 total), the option of remote research, funded travel to Washington, D.C., and direct access to policymakers working on pressing global issues.

- The focus of each fellow’s tenure will be their research project. The project must be a policy-relevant, nonpartisan project that addresses key challenges confronting the United States and the world. The project must align with at least one of the four priority areas for the Wilson Center.
