SheLeadsAfrica (SLA) BoostHer Program 2026
Overview
The SheLeadsAfrica (SLA) BoostHer Program, run in collaboration with Jobberman, is an initiative to empower young Nigerian women entrepreneurs. It addresses the particular challenges women face in business and job seeking through a blended learning experience that includes advanced self-paced courses. Participants gain access to high-quality training, expert-led masterclasses and hands-on guidance tailored to their needs, aimed at sustainable business growth and economic independence.
What you get
Participants receive expert-led training through self-paced courses and live masterclasses, and mentorship and networking with successful entrepreneurs, business leaders and fellow participants. They build practical skills in business ideation, branding, financial management, leadership and career development. They also get access to funding opportunities, internships, job placements and business support, with the chance to secure funding through programme grants and business pitch opportunities. Learning happens at the participant's own pace on SLA's digital platform, with extra in-person sessions at universities and community centres, and participants join a network of ambitious women working toward economic independence.
Who can apply
The programme is open to young Nigerian women aged 18 to 35. It welcomes women with innovative business concepts as well as those with the potential to learn skills that turn their abilities into money-making businesses. Applicants can be at different stages of their journey, including students at the point of admission who want to gain career readiness skills, current undergraduates seeking to build employability and professional experience, and recent graduates moving into the job market.
