Naija Feminists Media Editorial Fellowship on Reproductive Health 2026
Overview
The Naija Feminists Media Editorial Fellowship on Reproductive Health 2026 is run by Naija Feminists Media as part of its work on feminist journalism and gender reporting. It marks the #16DaysofActivism Against Gender-Based Violence. Reproductive rights are the rights of individuals to make informed decisions about their bodies, sexuality, reproduction and reproductive health without discrimination, coercion or violence.
The fellowship equips journalists with the tools, knowledge and mentorship to produce work that challenges false narratives about reproductive rights and supports systemic change. Each fellow produces one story on reproductive rights, covering lived realities, contributing factors, barriers to access and solutions. The stories are meant to educate the public, call for legislative and institutional accountability, and drive change. Fellows' reports are published during the 16 Days of Activism.
