MOPGA Fellowship Program 2027 in France | €2,500 Monthly Allowance
Overview
The MOPGA (Make Our Planet Great Again) Visiting Fellowship is a 12-month postdoctoral program funded by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs (MEAE). Fellows work in leading French research institutions on environmental and climate issues. There are no admission or tuition fees. After completing the fellowship, participants receive the status of French Government Scholarship holders.
The research themes are Earth system sciences, climate change and sustainability science, energy transition, societal challenges related to environmental issues, and human, animal and environmental health. Projects should fit these themes. Researchers first define their project and then contact a host laboratory or research unit, which provides the scientific environment for the work.
What you get
Fellows receive a monthly allowance of 2,500 euros for 12 months, a one-time installation grant of 500 euros, and health coverage and insurance. Any travel support is discussed with the host laboratory.
