Overview

The Melton Foundation Global Solvers Accelerator 2027 is a ten-month leadership and peer-learning programme for emerging changemakers aged 20 to 35 who are actively driving social impact in their communities. Each year a cohort of 15 to 20 practitioners from around the world learns together while strengthening the social impact projects they lead. The programme combines online learning and dialogue with an in-person Global Solvers Co-Lab, through peer exchange, reflection, collaborative inquiry, project-based learning and shared practice.

It is not a typical accelerator focused on growth, scaling or performance. It is a deep-work space for practitioners dealing with real tensions in their work, who bring unresolved questions and difficult decisions into a community where learning is built through honest conversation, feedback, experimentation and mutual support. Guided by the Melton Foundation's Global Citizenship Development Framework, participants learn to understand social challenges across cultures and systems, strengthen their ability to lead and share leadership, and build relationships with peers rooted in honesty, care and radical trust.

Costs and scholarships

The programme fee is $900 USD and is payable only if selected. Scholarships covering 20%, 50% or 80% of the fee are available to participants with proven need.

Who can apply

Well-suited candidates are aged 20 to 35 and actively involved in an ongoing project, enterprise, research effort, movement or community initiative tied to the SDGs, with influence over its decisions. They have a track record of real social impact, are open-minded team players at ease with different cultures and identities online and in person, and have enough English to take full part. They can commit roughly 4 hours a week and can attend the week-long Global Solvers Co-Lab from 3 to 10 July 2027 in Germany, which is fully funded.

Key dates

The application deadline is 15 November 2026 at 23:59 US EST.
