For nearly 15 years, the NHS Global Fellowship Programme has sent close to 800 NHS staff abroad on fellowships, with many returning fellows going on to apply their global health experience as senior leaders within the NHS.

- Recruitment for the February 2025 cohort of NHS Global Fellowships is now open. Applicants must complete the application form and send a CV to england.global.fellowships@nhs.net. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a virtual 35-minute interview between Monday 9 September and Friday 13 September.

- General Quality Improvement Fellowships – These fellowships are six months long, living and working in the allocated country. They cover a range of project topics defined by overseas partners and local health system needs. Delivered in several countries. To check the specific eligibility criteria, click here.
