Impact AI Fellowship 2027 in Germany (Fully Funded)
Overview
The Impact AI Fellowship 2027 is a fully funded program hosted by the Alexander von Humboldt Institute for Internet and Society (HIIG) in Germany. Lasting for ten weeks, the program runs from 16 August to 22 October 2027. It features in-person sessions in Berlin alongside a research phase that permits remote work. Participants investigate how artificial intelligence impacts society and the environment by learning and applying the Impact AI Method, a structured evaluation approach. Each fellow assesses a real-world AI project, analyzing its intended benefits and broader implications for society, sustainability, and the public interest. There is no application fee.
