Overview

The African Masterclass Series 6.0 (AMS 6.0) from Ideation Hub Africa is a free, 12-week Impact Accelerator for 2,500 changemakers, social innovators, social impact leaders and NGOs across the African continent. It is themed The Impact Accelerator: Funding, Technology, Innovation, AI & Leadership for the Digital Age, and builds skills in funding, technology, AI, innovation and leadership. The edition is intended to help promising ideas gain the structure, mentorship and access needed to become scalable, real-world projects.

What you get

The curriculum has 12 module-based sessions shaped around Africa's emerging realities. Participants get access to 12 mentors from the development, entrepreneurship and policy sectors, and join peer-led impact cohorts organized around different Sustainable Development Goals for collaboration and project development.

The series ends with a capstone challenge in which participants launch their solution and pitch it to a panel of experts, funders and ecosystem leaders. After the program, alumni engagement, visibility and access to funding for scalable projects are available.

Who can apply

The series is open to a wide group, including social entrepreneurs and NGO leaders building or scaling community projects, women leaders and people from underrepresented groups, university students and early-career professionals, and nonprofit professionals. Policy advocates and development practitioners working on African challenges can also take part, as can AI, innovation and future-of-work enthusiasts.

Developers, designers and digital creators are welcome too, particularly those who want to use technology and AI for real-world impact, build scalable tech-enabled platforms or products, and improve their product thinking and innovation skills.

How to apply

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis through the online application form.
