Harvard South Africa Fellowship Program (HSAFP) – 2027–2028 Cohort: Apply Now!

Established in 1979 by then-Harvard University President Derek Bok, the Harvard South Africa Fellowship Program (HSAFP)—seeking applicants for the 2027–2028 cohort—is an esteemed initiative designed to combat the educational marginalization imposed on South Africans by Apartheid. This program was born directly out of the advocacy campaigns led by Harvard faculty and students amidst the transnational divestment movements of the 1970s.
