Overview
The Harvard LEAD Fellowship for Promoting Women in Global Health is a one-year programme operating from September 1, 2027, to August 31, 2028. It is provided by the Harvard Global Health Institute alongside the Department of Global Health and Population at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. The initiative is structured to strengthen leadership capacities and increase the impact of established and emerging professionals in global health through personalized development, mentoring, coaching, executive education, networking, and reflection.

The programme is open to professionals from low- and middle-income countries who are already contributing to global health and exhibit the potential to assume greater leadership responsibilities. What you get
Participants receive a personalized leadership development experience that includes a 12-month virtual curriculum and a six-week in-person experience in Cambridge, Massachusetts, taking place in spring 2028, specifically scheduled for April 2028. The support provided includes individual leadership coaching, mentorship from established professionals, an executive education course, private leadership masterclasses led by Harvard faculty, speaking events, networking opportunities, tailored leadership training, independent project work, and cohort-based learning alongside interaction with senior mentors and Harvard faculty.
