Green Global Fellowship 2027 for Emerging Leaders
Overview
The Green Global Fellowship 2027 is an action-oriented fellowship running a February 2027 cohort. It is designed for emerging leaders worldwide who are dedicated to promoting sustainability via advocacy, education, and community action. Participants are required to put their learning into practice, transfer sustainability concepts to younger generations, and show tangible results within schools and communities.
Who can apply
Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 35 at the time of the application deadline. Candidates are expected to show a true dedication to environmental action and sustainability, commit to sharing sustainability education with the next generation through an Officially Green Club, maintain availability for all designated conferences and active participation, and possess reliable internet access along with the ability to document their activities and impact. Prior professional experience in sustainability is not necessary, and the application process takes about 5 to 7 minutes to complete.
What you get
Participants learn directly from thought leaders and sustainability experts while building communication, leadership, advocacy, and project-management capabilities. Fellows gain hands-on experience in community engagement and sustainability education, connect with a peer network of young sustainability leaders, and construct a portfolio of documented impact and sustainability projects. A certificate is awarded upon the successful fulfillment of all fellowship requirements. Additionally, one fellow who meets all requirements and demonstrates documented impact may be awarded a US$1,000 grand prize following the fellowship to help continue or expand the Educators Initiative, though this award is conditional on full compliance and demonstrated results rather than selection alone.
Key dates
The application deadline is January 7, 2027, and the cohort begins in February 2027.
