Overview

The Climatebase Fellowship is an online career accelerator designed to help participants explore professional opportunities within the climate sector. Spanning twelve weeks, the programme combines structured educational sessions, expert discussions, career development activities, networking, and collaborative projects.

Participants are introduced to various industries and climate solutions, including clean energy, sustainable agriculture, climate finance, transportation, carbon removal, corporate sustainability, and the circular economy. Successful participants receive a Certificate of Completion and gain continued access to the Climatebase community and its professional network.

Who can apply

The programme is open to individuals from diverse educational and professional backgrounds who are at least 18 years old at enrollment. Eligible candidates include recent graduates, researchers, entrepreneurs, technology professionals, and individuals with backgrounds in finance, marketing, communications, and operations.

Applicants do not need prior employment experience in the environmental sector, but they must demonstrate a genuine interest in climate solutions and a willingness to participate fully in the programme.

What you get

Participants engage in structured learning covering climate fundamentals and specific sectors such as food, agriculture, clean energy, and buildings. The fellowship facilitates connections with climate experts, founders, and investors through guest sessions and community events.

Fellows also access career-focused workshops, job-search support, and opportunities to collaborate on capstone projects or explore climate-focused business ideas. A Certificate of Completion is awarded to those who finish the programme.

Requirements

Applicants must complete an online application form providing personal, educational, and professional information, along with an explanation of their interest in climate careers. Candidates may also be required to complete a video interview if invited by the admissions team.

The programme requires a fee of $1,990, which includes $1,790 in tuition and a $200 annual community membership fee. Financial assistance is available upon inquiry.

How to apply

Candidates must access the online application form through the official Climatebase Fellowship website to submit their personal, educational, and professional details. Applicants should explain their motivation for joining the fellowship and complete any subsequent admissions steps, such as a video interview.

Key dates

The priority consideration deadline for Cohort 11 is 12 January 2027. The programme is expected to take place during the first quarter of 2027.
