Changemakers for Youth Programme 2027 (Stipend available)
Overview
The Changemakers for Youth Programme 2027 is a three-year initiative designed to support, connect, and amplify the work of 80 social entrepreneurs and young changemakers. The programme focuses on individuals addressing pressing social, economic, and environmental challenges within their communities while strengthening the agency, skills, and empowerment of young people. Participants join in cohorts representing eligible countries and gain access to a global community, customised capacity building, and seed funding for cross-border collaborations.
Who can apply
Applicants must be between 18 and 35 years old and currently live or have an impact in Egypt, Germany, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine, Switzerland, or Tunisia. Candidates must hold a leadership or decision-making role in an active social or environmental venture or organisation that addresses youth development. While original founders are eligible, regular employees or volunteers without a leadership position cannot apply. Additionally, applicants must have sufficient proficiency in English to participate fully, as the programme and its summit are conducted in English. The initiative itself must be youth-led, have youth as the key target group, or otherwise strengthen the agency and skills of young people.
What you get
The programme covers accommodation, catering, local transportation during the summit, venue and materials, facilitation, post-summit capacity building, and community engagement activities for the duration of the summit and programme. Participants also receive access to seed funding for cross-border collaborations. Travel stipends are available and can be requested to fully or partially cover eligible expenses such as flights, train or bus travel, visa fees, mandatory travel insurance, and necessary layover accommodation, subject to individual assessment and available funding.
Requirements
Participants are generally expected to cover their own travel and visa expenses to reach the summit city unless awarded travel support. Costs such as local transportation to and from the departure point, as well as meals and accommodation outside of the official summit dates, are not eligible expenses and remain the responsibility of the participant.
Key dates
The application deadline is November 9, 2026, at 23:59 UTC+2.
