About the Fellowships: SSHRC Postdoctoral Fellowships back the most promising new Canadian scholars in the social sciences and humanities, helping them establish a research base at a pivotal point in their careers. They provide stipend support to recent PhD graduates who are carrying out original research, publishing their findings, growing their research networks, and gaining broader teaching experience.

- Indigenous talent measures: Among its measures intended to support research by and with Indigenous Peoples, SSHRC’s Indigenous Talent Measures are aimed at supporting graduate students and postdoctoral researchers applying to the Canada Graduate Scholarships—Doctoral Program, SSHRC Doctoral Fellowships or SSHRC Postdoctoral Fellowships.
