Amelia Earhart Fellowship 2027 (up to $12,000)
Overview
The Amelia Earhart Fellowship 2027 supports women pursuing Ph.D. or doctoral degrees in aerospace engineering and space sciences. It was established in 1938 by Zonta International in honor of the famed aviator and Zontian Amelia Earhart. Women's contributions are essential to advancing exploration, innovation and understanding of the universe, yet women remain significantly underrepresented in these fields. The Fellowship aims to ensure women have the resources and opportunities to become leaders and decision-makers in them.
Since the programme began, Zonta has awarded 1,824 Amelia Earhart Fellowships totaling more than US$12.5 million to 1,395 women from 81 countries.
