Overview
The Anna Lindh Foundation has launched the Knowledge for Action Programme Cycle 2 to support evidence-based and policy-oriented research addressing significant challenges in the Euro-Mediterranean region. The programme aims to help academic institutions and researchers convert knowledge into practical, actionable policies and practices that benefit civil society. It focuses on research addressing intercultural dialogue, cooperation, resilience, migration, youth participation, education, innovation, climate action, and digital transformation within the Common Mediterranean Space.
Who can apply
The opportunity is intended for authors whose proposed research contributes to the Euro-Mediterranean policy debate. Applicants must select one of twelve designated areas for their proposed research brief, including the intercultural dimensions of green and blue transitions, sustainable transport and connectivity corridors, evidence-based policymaking, disaster preparedness and resilience, migration governance, peace and security through youth cooperation, higher education mobility, bridging skills gaps, culture and sustainable tourism, civil society and local authority cooperation, inclusive startup ecosystems, and digital infrastructure and artificial intelligence. Proposed work must maintain a clear Euro-Mediterranean perspective and incorporate an intercultural dialogue approach.
What you get
Selected authors receive a net lump sum of €700 for producing their research brief. Additionally, participants may receive up to €500 net to organize an Academic Dialogue within their community of practice. The overall indicative amount allocated to the call is €27,500.
