Overview

The AGORA Fellowship 2027 (Cohort 2) is a 9-month leadership and institution-building programme for mid-career African leaders who are already creating measurable impact. It aims to help them build stronger institutions, widen their influence and contribute to Africa's transformation.

The programme has a faith-based character. It describes itself as developing Kingdom-minded leaders with Christ-centred influence across what it calls the twelve mountains, combining discipleship, leadership training, enterprise mentoring and societal transformation projects. It is presented as more than an academic programme.

The nine months cover leadership formation, institution building, mentorship and peer learning, systems leadership, strategic exposure, capstone development, residency and immersive learning, and graduation and commissioning. Its stated objectives are to develop spirit-filled, excellence-driven leaders with global relevance, equip fellows with a biblical mindset and practical tools, encourage mentorship and collaboration across sectors, and carry out Kingdom Impact Projects that address real societal problems.

Who can apply

The fellowship is for mid-career African professionals with roughly 8 to 10 years of experience, aged between 27 and 40. Founders, executives, senior professionals and institution builders are the intended audience, particularly people already leading organisations, enterprises, institutions, ministries or structured platforms who want to move from individual influence to institutional and systems-level impact.

Requirements

Applicants must have a legally registered social enterprise or business operating in Africa. They should already be leading and producing measurable impact, and be faith-aligned individuals committed to Kingdom-centred leadership.

How to apply

Applications are submitted online through the fellowship's application page.

Key dates

The application deadline is November 1, 2026. The fellowship runs for nine months in 2027.
