ACA Ambassador Programme 2027: Apply for a Nine-Month Climate Justice Leadership Programme for Emerging Activists
Overview
The African Climate Alliance Ambassador Programme is a nine-month hybrid capacity-building initiative created for emerging climate justice activists. The programme is structured to develop participants into informed, connected, and effective agents of change by combining climate justice education, peer mentorship, and local project leadership. The hybrid format blends remote activities with other forms of engagement to equip young activists with the knowledge, practical experience, peer support, and advocacy skills necessary to drive meaningful community-level action.
What you get
Participants who successfully complete the programme receive certification, valuable professional networks, and demonstrated projects that support their continued involvement in climate action. The initiative provides structured learning across four learning schools to deepen understanding of climate justice, alongside opportunities for peer mentorship, knowledge sharing, and leading localised projects that contribute to the African Climate Alliance and the wider climate justice movement.
