100x Impact Accelerator 2027/2028 (£150,000 in catalytic funding)
Overview
The 100x Impact Accelerator 2027/2028 is a programme designed to find and support future social unicorns that have the capacity to improve the lives of hundreds of millions or billions of people. Selected ventures take part in a tailored 16-week programme that forms the beginning of a long-term partnership aimed at strengthening funding and impact measurement strategies, developing leadership, and supporting scaling efforts. This initiative also covers the expenses for up to two team members to participate in person at the London School of Economics during the first week and to attend the final pitch day.
Who can apply
Organisations can be registered and operate from any location globally, and they may be structured as either for-profit or non-profit entities. Applicants must operate with a team of at least four full-time paid employees and focus explicitly on social or environmental impact. Eligible ventures must work within at least one of eight designated impact areas, which include climate and environment, democracy, happiness and wellbeing, education, equitable economies, health and social care, new frontiers, and refugees and cohesion. Additionally, participants must have a proven model that moves past the ideation stage and demonstrates clear evidence of positive impact. Applicants need to have achieved impact reaching a minimum of 10,000 end-users through business-to-consumer channels, or indirectly affected at least 100,000 individuals via business-to-business or business-to-government channels. Furthermore, ventures must possess a clear vision for impacting hundreds of millions of lives and demonstrate a credible pathway to achieving systems-level change through market transformation, replication, open infrastructure, or integration into public or private delivery systems.
What you get
Participants receive £150,000 in catalytic funding to reinforce their pathway to scale. The long-term partnership provides access to the research expertise of the London School of Economics alongside connections to a worldwide network of advisers, funders, partners, and peers for building relationships and exchanging ideas. Selected ventures may also be eligible for potential follow-on funding, depending on fit and the availability of funds.
